An impressive orange wine from the humble, talented couple of Alexander and Maria Koppitsch; two old-vines vineyards blended together, one a Gemischter Satz (field blend) vineyard planted in 1933, the other an old-vines Welschriesling vineyard on limestone. 'Touch' was then macerated on the skins around 10 days, foot-stomped, and aged in neutral barrique. This wine is an emblem of what all the white grapes in Burgenland can do together: beautiful texture, persistent minerality, fruity, flinty, and expressive aromatics.
