Trio, Domaine Berthet Bondet 2020 (Jura, France)

Trousseau (60%), Poulsard (30%) and Pinot Noir (10%). From younger vines on limestone and Trias marls, this is typically light, fragrant and fresh thanks to the short 1 week maceration and stainless tank aging. Expect red berry fruits – raspberry and strawberry – with rhubarb and some herbal, earthy and peppery tones. The palate is light and fresh, rivalling Burgundian neighbours for complexity but without the structure getting in the way of the sheer deliciousness
