50% Sagrantino, 30% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. In the glass the wine sits a faded ruby color with shades of tawny towards the rim. The nose is resplendent with notes of sour cherry, soy, figs and leather. Medium-bodied on the palate with fine-grained, dusty tannins and sharp acidity. Savory palate and finish.
