Farmer wine made from a blend of Barbera and Freisa from a few plots around Scurzolengo, not far from Asti in southeastern Piedmont, farmed and produced naturally by Nadia Verrua and family. Full bodied, but light on its feet with earthy purple and red fruit and a lipsmacking finish. Pizza wine of champions.
