Brut Nature Reserva, Balma 2017 (Catalunya, Spain)

50% Xarello, 40% Macabeo, 10% Parellada. Pale gold in color. White flowers, peach, green apple, lemon-lime citrus, with light biscuit aroma notes. Delicate efflorescence gives way to honeysuckle, honey, quince, brioche, orange peel, melon, and green leaves. Meandering flavors resolve with a bit of smoke and granite. This is a dry wine with 0 dosage, high acidity, medium body. Elegant, drinks more like champagne than a cava.
