Calaniuru Rosso, Mortellito 2019 (Sicily, Italy)

75% Frappato and 25% Nero d’Avola hand harvested from organic vines in the Noto valley all the way south in Sicily. Fermented with native yeast and aged in steel for 6 months before a light filtration and really low sulfur added at bottling. Medium bodied and silky with crushed flowers, wild berries and spice. Serve chilled, but not too cold.
