Queen of the Sierra Amber 2019 $24 This is a blend of Verdelho, Albarino, Chardonnay and Muscat, and maybe a few others Matthew isn't mentioning, all fermented on the skins in a variety of open topped vessels, some of the fruit was destemmed and some left whole cluster and then aged in a mix of old barrel, steel tanks and conrete eggs before getting bottled unfiltered with just a touch of sulfur. The result is a fresh and aromatic orange wine with tropical notes, spice and nice structure.
