Fosc, Finca Parera 2019 (Catalonia, Spain)

This is a blend of Sumoll, Garnatxa (aka Grenache), Ull de Llebre (aka Tempranillo) and Syrah all from certified biodynamic vines, hand harvested, wild fermented and aged on the lees in cement before getting bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. Lighter than you might expect for the blend, but still medium and fruit forward with lively red berry fruit and wild forest floor and earthy funk notes. Nice with a little chill, but can go either way.
