Joven, Akutain 2020 (Rioja, Spain)

The Akutain Cosecha is comprised of mostly Tempranillo with a small percentage Garnacha, hand-harvested from the family parcels, fermented in fiberglass vats with native yeasts and a short maceration, and raised over winter in fiber glass vats before being bottled without filtration or fining. Deep dark fruit and great with smoked meats or roasted mushrooms.
