Coda di Volpe 2020 $23 100% Coda di Volpe, a native white grape that translates to Tail of the Fox because of the shape of the grape bunches (Italian farmer whimsy at its finest). This is from a single biodynamic vineyard of 17 year old vines, hand harvested and wild fermented with the skins left on for 8 days, then pressed off to steel tanks to age until spring, then bottled unfiltered with almost no sulfur added. Full bodied, but light on its feet with tropical notes and wild herbs with easy, silky tannins. Total crowd pleaser that will sell out in no time flat (you've been warned).
