Light White 2019 $23 This is a field blend of Garganega, Riesling and Moscato all co-fermented with wild yeast and left on the skins for 3 days, then aged on the lees in concrete for 5 months before getting bottled unfiltered with almost no sulfur added. At just under 11%, this lives up to its name with just a touch of skin contact and beautiful aromatics with tropical notes and crushed rocks and lean, dry finish.
Candalua 2019 $23 70% Rondinella from younger vines and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from older vines, both left mostly whole cluster and wild fermented using carbonic maceration for 20 days before it all gets pressed off to concrete tanks to age for a few months and again gets bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Juicy dark cherry and wild strawberry fruit on a silky light to medium frame.
